New color scheme for IGo or Mio device
Color map schemes obtain
the definitions for the colors of roads, higways, water, urbanisation
and so on. Schemes can be selected from the Map options menu, here you
can select a color map for night or daylight. On the internet you can
find several scenes for your mio device or IGo. Downloaded schemes must
be installed in the
My Flash Diskmiomapmiomapscheme
directory. Do not unzip the downloaded file but place it as a zip file
on your device. Below is an example of a color scheme, click
on the map for download.
After you have installed the zip file you can select the new color map in the map options menu.
You can edit these zip
files youself, in a future article i will describe how to make your own
color scheme for your mio device.

I just found your site, I'm a MioMap user and I'm very satisfied with it.
Really thank you for all the good information and tips!
Thanks for your excellent site.
I use Miomap 3.3 in a c520t. I prefer the Jove colour scheme among the available schemes given in Miomap . However, the cursor which is bluish green doesn't contrast to the route shown in green. Where could cursor colour be changed?
In next article i will describe how to change the color of the cursor.
cursor color is located in scheme file in file color.ini
Change line that starts with "carcolorint"
